Due to our expanding business, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant on a full time basis. As part of the management team, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your expertise will help drive financial efficiency and support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and transactions
- Prepare client management accounts, reports and budgets
- Manage an accounting team
- Conduct reconciliations, perform end of year processes and assist with audits
- Ensure compliance with Tax, VAT and financial regulations
- Ensure deadlines are reached
- AML compliance
- Liaising with MBR re firm’s corporate services
- Main point of contact for client accounting
- Train and mentor staff
- Provide financial insights to support business growth
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications – Warranted accountant
- Experience: – Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar role, good knowledge of VAT principles in yachting, and sound knowledge in CSP compliance and corporate services
- Skills – Strong analytical, multi-tasking abilities, problem-solving, organizational and leadership skills
- Software Knowledge –Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Language – Fluent in written and spoken English
- Attention to Detail – Accuracy in financial reporting and data management
