Due to its expanding business, AML is seeking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join its finance team on a full time basis. This is a exciting and challenging role whereby the candidate shall be involved in finance duties relating to an array of services which AML offers to its international clients.
Duties Include
- Book keeping up to trial balance stage
- Calculation and preparation of crew payrolls
- Handling clients’ accounts
- Debtors billing
- Creditors payments and bank reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT returns and VAT recapitulative statement
- Monthly reconciliations
- Assisting in financial audits
- Assistance with management accounts
- Assistance in budgets and forecasts
- General office duties
Education
- Partly ACCA qualified
- A’ level in accounting
- Minimum experience of 2 years in an accounting environment
Skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Analytical and meticulous
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Work independently and on own initiative
- Team player
- Knowledge of Shireburn accounting software shall be considered an asset
